WebUI 24.0 SP1 is missing "search" bar and "monitor" tab

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading or installing WebUI 24.0 SP1  and logging into the WebUI, the following parts are not shown on the main Web UI 

Server search bar
Monitor tab

 

Environment

WebUI 24.0 SP1

Cause

Monitor is a new action and is not turned on by default in ApplicationAccess policy

Resolution

Login into EEM UI selecting application "WCC0004" using user "EiamAdmin" and corresponding password.

Select "Manage Access Policies"
    Select "ApplicationAccess" in the left pane
        Select "ApplicationAccessDefault" policy 
            Turn on the flag under action "Monitor" for the concerned users that requires this, for example "ejmcommander"
