Datastore "Inaccessible" and backing device has error "Device naa.########### has been removed or is permanently inaccessible."

Cause
Multiple HDD failure can cause entire Hardware RAID to fail resulting in loss of datastore.
Resolution
Engage hardware vendor to address RAID issues and restore access to the device
Additional Information
Multiple Hard drive failure can result in RAID failure and can cause data loss.
