LLAWP 100% CPU Consumption with 6.x Agent

Issue/Introduction

Problem:

100% CPU Usage is Observed on Web Agent LLAWP Process

 

Environment:  

Web Server O/S: ALL

Web Server: ALL

Web Agent versions: 6sp6 and below

 

Cause: 

Permissions are missing from where the web agent log and/or trace is supposed to be written.

 

Resolution/Workaround:

The web server owner needs to have read and write rights to the directory or directories where the web agent logs and/or web agent traces are generated.

The web server owner is the user the web server service is started with.
