Unable to configure VLSR appliance with vCenter 8.0U3b or above

Issue/Introduction

You receive the following error when configuring VLSR appliance 9.0.3 with vCenter 8.0U3b or above.

Method drConfig.ConfigurationManager.validateConnection threw undeclared fault of type drConfig.fault.InternalError.

Environment

VLSR 9.0.3

vCenter 8.0U3 or above

Cause

VLSR 9.0.3 is only compatible with vCenter 9.0 and vCenter 8.0U3b or above

Resolution

Use a compatible version of VLSR with your vCenter server: Reference the Product Interoperability Matrix.
