Unable to configure VLSR appliance with vCenter 8.x

Issue/Introduction

You receive the following error when configuring VLSR appliance 9.0.3 with vCenter 8.x

Method drConfig.ConfigurationManager.validateConnection threw undeclared fault of type drConfig.fault.InternalError.

Environment

VLSR 9.0.3

vCenter 8.0U3

Cause

VLSR 9.0.3 is only compatible with vCenter 9.0 and vCenter 8.0U3b

Resolution

Deploy VLSR appliance 9.0.2.2 and configure with vCenter.
