Remote connections from other VMware solutions or from 3rd party services may become exhausted despite solution to increase connections has ben applied described in KB344920

 

Environment

VCenter 8.0U2

Cause

VUM connections limit which can't be changed via the rhttpproxy configuration file.

Resolution

Remove the connection limit for the VUM port 8084.

 

Note: Do backup file before change anything

1 Remove the envoy.filters.network.vmware filter from /etc/vmware-rhttpproxy/endpoints.conf.d/edge_vum_8084_https.json

2 Restart rhttpproxy service to apply changes

service-control --stop vmware-rhttpproxy 

service-control --start vmware-rhttpproxy 

 

Note: This is not recommended and can be considered a security issue.
