Issue/Introduction

Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) for Linux fails to connect to the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM).

Below error found in cve.log:

Cause

SEP client isn't able to access DHCP service

Resolution

Check the permissions for the "/var/lib/dhcp" path, and set read access if missing.
