This issue is seen on the cisco hardware where esxi is installed.
Messages are initiated by activities in the Cisco HX storage cluster. They are distributed to VMware vCenter Events or Alarms pages—Some messages are directed to the vCenter Events and Alarms pages by the HX Data Platform.
Some messages that are stored in HyperFlex log files are queried by vCenter and added to the vCenter Events and Alarm pages.
Check Alarm defination
Click on vCenter server>Configure>alarm defination> search for alarm Cluster is out of license compliance
Alarm defination suggests below:
Alarm Name: Cluster is out of license compliance.
Description:
Cisco HyperFlex Alarm - For additional context about the alarm, view the alarm description in HX-Connect or Intersight.
It is important to note that you must acknowledge and reset the alarm in both vCenter and HX Connect.
This is triggerred by SmartLicenseOutOfComplianceEvent in cisco hyperflex connect.
To resolve this issue:
If not acknowledged on Cisco hyperflex, this alarm will reappear on vCenter server after few hours.
If the Cisco licenses are not in use on vCenter server.
Disable the Alarm on vCenter server
Click on vCenter server>Configure>alarm defination> search for alarm Cluster is out of license compliance > Disable
