Issue/Introduction

When create uplink profile in NSX, there is one option Failback in teamings section.

To enable preemptive failover from a standby uplink to an active uplink after the active comes back up, enable Failback. If you do not want the active uplink to carry traffic once it is back up again after a failure (non-preemptive), disable Failback.

Cause

This article provides information to configure uplink profile teamings "Failback" default to "No" via API

Resolution

Please use parameter "rolling_order" to specify Yes/No for Failback in teamings of uplink profile.

To set teamings "Failback" default to "No", then configure  "rolling_order" to value "true"

To set teamings "Failback" default to "Yes", then configure  "rolling_order" to value "false"
