CA Workload Automation AE - Scheduler (AutoSys) Autosys Workload Automation

Issue/Introduction

We are doing a Disaster Recovery test.  We restored Autosys version 11.3.6, EEM 12.51, and WCC.

Afterward we see these errors in the as_server.ACE:

loadPEM  -- cannot read cert

etpki_pem_file_to_cert failed

Also in the EEM UI no applications are listed.

dxserver fails to start and the following is seen in the $DXHOME/logs/* log files:

Assertion failed (EIDs are getting too large) (/net/potaroo/release/BRANCHSP10.new/src/dsa/dxgrid/caDxgrid.c1864)

Assertion failed (/net/potaroo/release/BRANCHSP10.new/src/dsa/dxgrid/caDxgrid.c1872)

DSA_E1280 Error in initialization files

DSA_I1240 DSA shutting down

Environment

Release: ATSYHA99000-11.3.6-Workload Automation AE-High Availability Option
Component:

Workload Automation AE 11.3.x

Workload Control Center 11.3.x and 11.4.x

Embedded Entitlements Management, EEM 12.51

Resolution

The errors in the $AUTOUSER/out/as_server.$AUTOSERV file indicate problems communicating with EEM.

The fact that the EEM UI's drop down application list is empty indicate EEM is not functioning properly.  In this instance igateway is running but it cannot communicate with the dxserver process.

The error messages in the log files under $DXHOME/logs suggest database corruption.  Restore the $DXHOME/data directory structure from a known good back up and then restart dxserver and igateway.
