Sending events from Aria Operations for Network to Aria operations for Logs

Issue/Introduction

Configuring Aria Operations for Networks  to send specific logs like Authentication failures, user creation logs etc. to a  Aria Operations for logs appliance.

Environment

Aria Operations for logs 8.x
Aria Operations for Networks 6.14.x

Resolution

Install the Aria Operations for logs LIAgent on Aria Operations for Networks appliance.

How to install VMware Aria Operations for Logs agent.

Modify the /var/lib/loginsight-agent/liagent.ini file to include the Aria Operations for logs configurations like hostname, protocol, ports etc.

At the end of the file, edit the below fields to capture correct logs from the Networks appliance, as mentioned in Collect Log Events from a Log File documentation
