Resolution

For this example I will be using the 'sa' account.

Using the IM UI:

  1. Login to the MS SQL endpoint natively, as the admin account you would like to make the change to (sa).
  2. Once logged into MS SQL, change the password for the specific account. (sa).
  3. Log into the IM UI and change the admin password for that specific SQL endpoint. You will receive a 'Task Completed' message.

Using the Provisioning Manager:

  1. Login to the MS SQL endpoint natively, as the admin account you would like to make the change to (sa).
  2. Once logged into MS SQL, change the password for the specific account. (sa).
  3. Log into the Provisioning Manager, search for the specific SQL endpoint you made the change to, right click -> Custom -> Change Admin Password, and Enter the newly create password for the specific account. (sa).
