Issue/Introduction

1. Aria Operations for Networks 6.14.1 collector pairing fails with error "Shared Secret -Failed Try again" 
   
   
2. During OVA deployment correct shared secret is used.
   
   Refer to error screenshots as below:
   
   
   
   
3. Pairing via CLI command also fails as seen in above screenshot.

 

Environment

Aria Operations for Networks 6.14.1

Cause

Collector pairing uses ngnix, issue were seen with Aria Operations for Networks build number 1753338250 with ngnix service.

 

Resolution

Refer to Broadcom KB for the ngnix service issues seen. 

To fix this issue, below are the options:

1. Deploy Aria Operations for Networks 6.14.0 build and complete the correct pairing.

2. Use Aria Operations for Networks version 6.14.1 Build number 1755947807 to upgrade if you have chosen Option1

3. Use Aria Operations for Networks version 6.14.1 Build number 1755947807 to complete your new deployment and collector pairing.
