Issue/Introduction

With the upcoming change effective September 29th, existing Tanzu Application Catalog customers may wonder what will happen to their account.

Resolution

Changes on Sept 29th won't affect existing customers. Tanzu Application Catalog team wlil keep delivering new releases to existing private registries / hosted registries for the applications already added to private catalogs.

 

In addition, the team has made the UI that was previously only available for logged in customers available to the public. That means anyone can browse the offerings and see the types of metadata and analytics the team provides on over 280 open source components. This catalog will also be the source of truth to know which images will be free and which commercial only after Sep 29th.
