Issue/Introduction

 vCenter Internal Server error in web browser

Viewing certificate in the browser shows it is expired

Not all services are started

Environment

vCenter 7.0

Cause

MACHINE_SSL certificate is expired

Resolution

Regenerate MACHINE_SSL certificate using Certificate Manager, option 1

Using vSphere Certificate Manager to Replace SSL Certificates

or

Regenerate MACHINE_SSL certificate using vCert script using option 3, sub-option 1
