Disable Software Metering Agent (Software Usage) on machines

Issue/Introduction

There is a requirement to disable Software Metering Agent (amswmagtw plugin) on end user machines, is it possible to do it?

Environment

Client Automation - All versions

Resolution

It’s possible to disable this plugin by running these commands:

caf disable amswmagtw

caf stop amswmagtw

There is no side effect of doing this, but the Software Usage capability on the machines won’t be available.
