VKS Setup Fails on vCenter 8.0.3 Due to NSX Manager Trust Issues

Issue/Introduction

VMware Kubernetes Service (VKS) installation fails with incompatibility errors related to NSX-T integration:

• Cluster domain-xxxx is missing compatible NSX-T VDS.
• Failed to list all distributed switches in vCenter xxxxxxx.
• API request to NSX Manager failed. Status code: 403, Status: 403 Forbidden.

Cause

The vCenter compute manager connection to NSX Manager lacked proper trust configuration. NSX Manager rejected API requests from vCenter, preventing detection of compatible distributed switches and causing VKS setup to fail.

Resolution

Enable trust on the compute manager when connecting vCenter to NSX Manager. This establishes a secure, authenticated relationship allowing NSX Manager to list distributed switches and validate compatibility.
