Using UI we are not able to remove disk

Issue/Introduction

• In vSAN UI you see the disk showing as Absent VSAN DISK
• Using the following command the disk is showing as Unknown from cli:
  esxcli vsan storage list 
• Cluster is not using de-dup and compression

Resolution

As the disk is unavailable, it needs to be removed using cli on the ESXi host

1. Use this command to get the UUID of the disk in question:
   esxcli vsan storage list 
   
   
2. Run the following command to delete the disk:
   esxcli vsan storage remove -u <uuid-from-step-1>
   
   
3. The disk can be replace and a new disk can be added
