CAISMPH Problems - No SYSMODs found to be processed

Issue/Introduction

You are trying to use CAISMPH to review your Broadcom mainframe product suite HOLDDATA.

You customized and submitted the CAISHOLD job provided, however it produces the following error and no report.

SMPPTS data sets found:
  your.product.smpe.dataset.SMPPTS
  your.product.smpe.dataset.SMPPTS1
Reading hold data
40 sysmods found in zone CAIT0
14 sysmods found in zone GLOBAL
**Error: No SYSMODs were found to be processed.
Processing hold data
No SYSMODs with hold data were selected

Errors were found. Look for "**Error" above

 

This condition results in a RC=08 on the job step execution.

Cause

All PTFS containing HOLDDATA have already been APPLIED.

Resolution

When customizing the CAISHOLD JCL, specify the target zone for unapplied maintenance; and specify the global zone for applied maintenance.
