Unable to Take Snapshots of Multiple Virtual Machines Concurrently in VMware Cloud Director Tenant Portal

Issue/Introduction

In the VMware Cloud Director Tenant Portal, when using the multiselect option to choose multiple virtual machines and initiate a snapshot, the Create Snapshot dialog opens but remains indefinitely stuck on Please wait.

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.6.1
VMware Cloud Director 10.6.1.1

Cause

This is a known issue in current VCD 10.6.x versions.

Resolution

There is currently no fix available. The only workaround is to take snapshots of virtual machines individually.
