Issue/Introduction

Metrics TCP Retransmission Ratio and Average TCP RTT (Avg) are not seen on Aria Operations for Networks GUI

Refer to GUI Screenshots as below:

Environment

Aria Operations for Networks 6.13.0
Aria Operations for Networks 6.14.0
Aria Operations for Networks 6.14.1

Cause

No NSX flow traffic is there.

The metric data will only be seen on GUI if the  generated flows are reported by NSX-T, no data is shown in the metrics for TCP Retransmission Ratio and Average TCP RTT (Avg).

Resolution

Generate flow traffic from the NSX Side.

NSX-T DFW IPFIX flow records include additional information about the TCP Round Trip time for establishing the flow and the TCP packet retransmission count to compensate for the high RTT or drops.

If you flow traffic is generated on the NSX Side and you still see this issue, then Open a support case with Broadcom Support to review your Aria Operations for Networks deployment. For more information, see Creating and managing Broadcom support cases.
