No Stats Primary Election

Issue/Introduction

• vSAN cluster is unable to preform Stats Primary Election
• Folder object show health APD
• Can not remove or recreate stat object in RVC with out error

Cause

• DOMPauseAllCCPs is set 1 on one or more hosts.
•  Run the following to check
  
  esxcfg-advcfg -g /VSAN/DOMPauseAllCCPs 

 

Resolution

• On each host in the cluster run the follow to make sure  /VSAN/DOMPauseAllCCPs is set to 0
  
  esxcfg-advcfg -s 0 /VSAN/DOMPauseAllCCPs  
  
  
• Then recreate the performance stats in RVC
  • remove or recreate stat object in RVC
