AWI Error: Unable to lock session – Users unable to Login to AWI

Issue/Introduction

The users intermittently experience issues logging in to AWI and during that time logging into the system is completely impossible.

Restarting the AWI server serves as a workaround.

After restart of the AWI, logging in worked again, and the error no longer occurs.

There are error messages in the AWI log during the issue time frame:
