Issue/Introduction

Running the SMPE apply job for FMIDs CSIQI10 and CSIQI13.  Received the following error for 

BPXF140E RETURN CODE 00000081, REASON CODE 0594003D.  A LINK FAILED FOR LINK NAME /u/xxxxxxx/xxxxxxxx/CSIQ181/ESCM/CA/..
/tpv/GenericWarIns.sh. 

 

Environment

Release : 18.1 and 19.0

Component : Endevor Software Change Manager

Cause

The half word reason code, 003D, issued by message BPXF104E, indicates that the the directory in the pathname could not be found.

¦ 003D   ¦ JRDirNotFound          
¦        ¦ A directory in the pathname was not found.

Resolution

Verify the following:

1)  Go to /u/xxxxxxx/xxxxxxxx/CSIQ181/ESCM directory and list the files. Are there 2 folders under ESCM?
..../ESCM/tpv
..../ESCM/CA

2) Was CSIQUSSM ZFS mounted to a correct mount point?
To verify that:
- navigate to the .../ESCM folder in dslist (ISPF 3.4)
- Put the pathname: /u/xxxxxxx/xxxxxxxx/CSIQ181/ESCM and hit enter.  Replace x's with your sites naming standards. 
- In the next screen, issue line command FS on a current directory. and hit enter.

- The mount point appears.

If the mount point is incorrect,  correct the error then rerun the apply job.
