Job Statistics report in WCC, select July1-July31 as the period. When this report was generated two weeks ago, the counts were much higher than the counts that you see when you run the same report right now with the same July1-July31 as the period.
WCC -> Configuration -> Preferences for Collector, Purge Data was set to 30 days (default). That means, only the last 30 days worth of data is kept. So the whole of last month's data may not be available and that data will be shrinking as current month progresses towards the end of month.
Example: If today's date is Aug 22, and the Date Time Range for the Job Statistics report was July1-July31, the report effectively only has data from July 21 - July 31 (as today's date is Aug 22 and so anything older than July 22 was purged out from reporting tables).
You can increase Purge Data to a higher value, say 60 days so a full last month's data is available for the next 30 days.
This value can be changed to a higher number too, depending on the business need, but make sure you have enough database space before just increasing this value to a higher number
