Issue/Introduction

I have 2 types of F5 devices in Performance Center.
The amount of metrics collected by both is the same.
Both devices are recognized as Load Balancers.

Yet, on the newest device's page we are missing the "F5 .." tabs we see for the old device.

Environment

any supported Performance Management release

Cause

The difference we need to focus on is that one device is using the Switch, LoadBalancer context page, and second is using Router, Switch, LoadBalancer context page.
The F5 tabs are expected only on the Switch context pages.
Second device will take only one page of the top priority context which is Router in this case.

Resolution

We see the OID is in DeviceTypes.xml OOTB but only for LoadBalancer.
Add the SysOID to custom DeviceTypes.xml switches and loadbalancers sections with sysServicesOverride=true;
then run rediscovery button, see if it changes to Switch/LoadBalancer.

Additional Information

There are following context pages: Router, Switch, Server, Other.
They are taking precedence over each other in the order listed so Router will overrule all the others.
You can add tabs for contexts like LoadBalancer, WAC, WAP, etc

Once the tab is added there will be the * its title i.e. in 'Load Balance Context *'
