Issue/Introduction

The postmaster-service-initialize utility fails with SSH authentication errors when ed25519 or ECDSA keys are used, displaying the error messages below:

`ERROR: failed to login to segment-host sdw4: ssh: handshake failed: ssh: unable to authenticate, attempted methods [none publickey], no supported methods remain`

Environment

Greenplum 7

Cause

The postmaster-service-initialize utility currently only supports an SSH key path for RSA keys (/home/username/.ssh/id_rsa). Authentication failures occur for Ed25519 or ECDSA keys because the utility doesn't discover or support alternative key types.

Resolution

This issue will be resolved in future versions of Greenplum.
