After Edge node replacement, packets drops experienced

Issue/Introduction

• NSX Edge VM(s) in Read-only mode due to datastore outage and had to be replaced
• Edge nodes have been replaced successfully but packet drops experienced
• Replaced Edge nodes are no longer part of the edge cluster

 

Environment

VMware NSX

Cause

• Replaced edge nodes have not been deleted
• Trace flow shows the replaced edge node(s) in the data path

Resolution

Delete the replaced edge nodes
