alarms not synchronizing between OC and Infrastructure Manager (IM) for our Oracle DB

Issue/Introduction

Alarms are not 'in sync' between OC and Infrastructure Manager (IM) when UIM DB is Oracle DB and UIM 23.4 CU3, CU4 and CU5 is installed.

While the alarms in IM are up to date, there's a significant delay of approximately 15 minutes or more for these alarms to reach both the UIM DB (Oracle) and UIM OC.

Environment

• Oracle BD
• UIM version 23.4 CU3, CU4 and CU5

Cause

Starting from NAS version 23.4.3, the externalId column was introduced in the UIM database.

While inserting data from the local database into UIM (Oracle), the OracleDB predefined size array was insufficient to construct the query required for data insertion.

Resolution

The engineering team provided nas-23.4.4-D3 (attached to the KB) to resolve the issue.
