Issue/Introduction

When onboarding VMs that have a network in NSX-T these vms show up in the vSphere network not the NSX-T network in vRA.

Environment

Aria Automation 8.18.1

Cause

The reason why the NSX-T Network is not allocated to the compute machine during onboarding is because the sub-network of the VC subnet i.e.

/resources/sub-networks/xxx

has missing "__opaqueNetworkId" in the custom_properties for the table subnet_state.

Resolution

Contact Broadcom support to verify that this is the issue and they will provide next steps to resolve the issue
