Rally - New UI Filters Take Up Too Much Space

Issue/Introduction

Recently, In the Rally User Interface each filter instance explicitly displays the "Field, Operator, Value" components, consuming approximately five lines of vertical screen real estate. This design is replicated for every active filter.

Impact:
This presentation method leads to significant and unnecessary consumption of valuable screen space, particularly when multiple filters are applied. It reduces the visible area for data content, potentially impacting user productivity and the overall user experience by requiring excessive scrolling.

The change in Rally UI is an intentional improvement, not a defect. We've updated elements like form fields with clear labels to enhance accessibility, ensuring Rally is easier for everyone to use, regardless of ability. Our goal is to make Rally fully compliant with accessibility standards, and these updates are part of our ongoing commitment to create a more inclusive and user-friendly platform.
