Issue/Introduction

1. Fresh OVA deployment for VCF Operations for Networks 6.14.1 shows issues with ngnix service.
   
   
2. Deployment logs for the platform appliances shows below entries:

3. When service health check command is executed to check the service it shows error
   Problem: Nginx is not running.
   
   
4. GUI login is impacted due to issues with ngnix service as login is needed to activate the deployment.

Environment

VCF Operations for Networks 6.14.1

Cause

This issue is due to latest fqdn change in 6.14.1 for SVC server. However, not correctly updated at /etc/hosts file properly on the appliance.

This causes ngnix service to not resolve the svc service and fails.

Resolution

Ngnix issues seen with VCF Operations for Networks 6.14.1 fresh deployment is now fixed with New Bits.

Older bits with Build number 1753338250 has been removed from Broadcom Portal and new bits with Build number 1755947807 are now made available to be downloaded from Broadcom Portal.

It is advised to download and use OVA's for VCF Operations for Networks 6.14.1 Build number 1755947807 for platform and collector nodes for the fresh deployments and use further.

Please Note:
It is recommended not to use older VCF Operations for Networks 6.14.1 with Build number 1753338250.
