Importing AD users or groups in Aria Operations sits at loading for a long time without a result

Issue/Introduction

• When searching for users or groups in Import from source the screen just sits at loading indefinitely.
• The authentication source is already configured and the domain test successful but importing users or groups does not work.
• In the /storage/log/vcops/log/vcops-bridge.log the below error is present:

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.x

Cause

The Authentication Source was not correctly configured (i.e. incorrect domain name, incorrect search criteria).

Resolution

Review the Authentication Source configuration. For additional information visit the documentation Authentication Sources: Add Authentication Source for User and Group Import .

If after editing the existing Authentication Source the issue persisted, proceed creating a new Authentication Source with a "Source Display Name" different from the original name.
