Dirscan template active but not showing in OC

Issue/Introduction

After activating the dirscan enhanced template it is still not showing as visible in OC. Only te legacy template is showing. 

Environment

DX UIM 23.4CU3

Cause

Production is =0 in the ssrv2template table for dirscan templates. For some reason, even though the template has been activated correctly (staus loaded>activated) it might still show as production = '0'. This prevents the template from showing in OC. 

Resolution

Raise a case for guidance from Support.

 

The following statement should fix the issue in most environments for this particular scenario: 

UPDATE ssrv2Template set production =1 where probe = 'dirscan' and version like '%3.18%'

-- Validate with Select * from ssrv2Template where probe = 'dirscan' and version like '%3.18%'  the selection before updating to validate the records that will be modified. 

-- Use this with caution and always have a rollback strategy (DB Backup) when manipulating the DB tables. In doubt, contact Broadcom support.
