Issue/Introduction

When connecting to Edge SWG GUI, the landing page does not load correctly. Graphs are missing and overall performance is poor. HAR file shows a lot 418 Internal Server Errors:

In payload of 418 Internal Server Error the following message is returned by Edge SWG:

% Encrypted token has expired; server requires a valid encrypted token in the request

Environment

  • Edge SWG Admin Console is accessed via ZTNA published application (e.g. Segment Application)
  • Site where Application is deployed has more than one connector

Cause

Traffic from single session is reaching Edge SWG from more than one source IP address. When more than one connector is deployed, traffic is loadbalanced between them. 

Resolution

Configure session stickiness for ZTNA application that is used to access Edge SWG Admin Console:
