DX Dashboard OI Telemetry is reporting zero values for UIM Monitored Entities.

Issue/Introduction
We see the UIM license count showing zero in OI telemetry, it was showing 720 in last month report.
What could be the reason? How to troubleshoot and fix the issue?
Environment
DX O2 SaaS
Cause
Issue in UIM apm_bridge connector side hence inventory data was not reported
Resolution
STEP #1. On DX O2 > DX Dashboards side
a) Open the problematic graph in DX Dashboards and find out the metric source, for example:
b) From the edit panel you can see the source of data:
c) open the Metric Browser and confirm data is getting received, this will help you isolate the issue and confirm that the issue is not with the DX Dashboard
STEP # 2. On UIM side
From Admin console, IM, or apm_bridge server itself, open the probe log and confirm everything is working as expected and there is not ERROR message , for this use-case, the below error message was found, indicating an issue with the cert
sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PXIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target
SUGGESTIONS:
1) Restart apm_bridge
2) Reimport the certificate, for step by step instructions refer to the documentation
Note : In case UIM entities count has been decreased in DXO2 OI telemetry then it is UIM side apm_bridge probe issue, contact UIM support team for the same along with apm_bridge probe log in debug mode.
