Issue/Introduction

Customer is planning on-prem deployment for the following:

  1. VIP Authentication Hub
  2. Sample Web Application

    If you decide to use Broadcom Docker registry, replace <dockerhub-username> and <dockerhub-password> with credentials that are provided by Broadcom.
  2. https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/symantec-security-software/identity-security/vip-authentication-hub/3-3/VIP-Authentication-Hub-Demo-Environment/deploying-sample-app/deploying-sample-app-in-a-separate-namespace.html
    Replace <username> and <password> which are credentials that are required to log in to the Docker registry where the Authentication Hub images are stored. The credentials for the Broadcom Docker registry are provided by Broadcom.

Customer has below questions:

  1. How do they get the credentials to download docker images from Broadcom Docker registry?
  2. If different credentials are required for #1 and #2, could you please advise on how the customer could obtain these credentials?

Environment

VIP Authentication Hub 3.x.x

Resolution

Please login to https://support.broadcom.com and go to Product Download page for VIP Authentication Hub product.
Clicking the "docker" icon will show the credentials the customer can use to download the docker images.

The "docker" icon appears if the login has the correct privilege.
