Issue/Introduction

Updated to the latest version of vSphere Replication plugin 9.0.x and also validated that the page shows the plugin has been updated, however all of the Workflows still show the old version 8.x

Environment

Aria Orchestrator 8.18.x

Cause

There were two or more .dar files for the plugin on the file system, representing the previous and the upgraded plugin.

This depending on the environment can lead to loading different versions of the content on the initial startup.

Resolution

  • Check the following on the affected environment.
  • Check the content of the following directory in the environment:-

          /data/vco/usr/lib/vco/app-server/plugins

  • Check for filename of the dar that looks like the following -

          vr-9.0.x-24xxxxxx.dar

  • If there are multiple vr-xxx..xxxx.xxxxx.dar files, delete the versions that are not expected and leave only one.
  • Then initiate a restart of the 'vco-app' pods
