Unable to clone DLP policies

Issue/Introduction

Cloning of DLP policies fail with red banner error: 

An unexpected error has occurred. This could be due to one of the following: 1) Your session timed out and you selected a link that was no longer valid, 2) You used the browser back or forward button placing the system into an inconsistent state, or 3) The system experienced a temporary problem.

Enforce localhost logs shows below error:

Level: SEVERE
Source: com.vontu.manager.spring.web.ManagerHandlerExceptionResolver
Message: Unexpected exception while processing request:
Cause:
java.util.NoSuchElementExceptionjava.util.NoSuchElementException

 

Environment

DLP 16.1

Cause

In 16.1 the response rules for Custom Attribute can be set to 'Is Unassigned', due to this there is no operand to the condition causing 'NoSuchElementException'

Resolution

As a workaround, the customer can remove the response rule condition for custom attributes with the 'Unassigned' value and then clone the policy.

Additionally, a hotfix is available for this issue Symantec_DLP_16.1_MP1HF4_Platform_Win-IN_16.1.00104.60191 and Symantec_DLP_16.1_MP1HF4_Platform_Lin-IN_16.1.00104.60191.zip
