Issue/Introduction

Aria Operations for Networks  GUI shows Capacity Configuration mismatch

Reconfiguration Option is enabled on GUI.  Refer to Screenshots below:

Environment

Aria Operations for Networks 6.14 

Cause

This usually happens when  is a change in the license or modification is done to the brick size of the setup.

Resolution

To Fix this you need to Click the Reconfiguration button seen on the Aria Operations for Networks.

  1. Login to to Aria Operations for Networks GUI

  2. Navigate to Settings>Infrastructure and support page

  3. Click RECONFIGURE

  4. This will take you to reconfiguration steps such as below:





  5. Click Close.

  6.  Login back to GUI as this will prompt to login

  7.  Navigate to Settings>Infrastructure and support page.

  8. It is expected that the Capacity error is not seen on GUI Now.

Additional Information

 

  • Any of the following actions can trigger a capacity mismatch:

    • Adding or removing licenses

    • Modifying CPU resources

    • Increasing brick size

  • When such changes occur, the platform automatically triggers a Reconfigure operation.

  • If the reconfiguration is incomplete or not aligned with current capacity settings, vRNI raises the capacity configuration mismatch alert.
