This article will discuss why the Symantec Endpoint Encryption Manager is missing from the start menu after upgrading to version 12.5.
Symantec Endpoint Encryption has had many improvements over the years, and the new SEE Web Console is now available.
The Server Manager, or "Symantec Endpoint Encryption Manager" is now only accessible in the following location:
While the Server Manager is still available for use, upon opening the utility, you will receive the following message:
"Note: The Symantec Endpoint Encryption Manager is deprecated and will not be available in a future release."
This message means that in a future version, only the web portal will be available.
Starting in SEE 11.4, components and management components have been improved and moved into the new SEE Web Portal.
You can still use the Server Managemer MMC Snapin, but it will be removed in a future release.
Check the Release Notes and Product Documentation for future updates.

*License management
*Reporting, Dashboards and KPIs
*SEE Native Groups and SEE Native Policies
*SEE Client Communication and Creation
*Autologon Enable\Disable Management
If you would like to use SEE Policies in GPOs, reach out to Symantec Encryption Support for further guidance.
