Issue/Introduction

Microsoft SQL Server 2016 Master Data Services and Microsoft ODBC Driver 13 for SQL Server are no longer supported by Microsoft. You need to remove these packages from your system, and you want to know whether removing them will cause problems with Information Centric Analytics (ICA).

Resolution

ICA does not use Microsoft SQL Server 2016 Master Data Services and it does not use Microsoft ODBC Driver 13 for SQL Server. Both can be safely removed from your database server with no adverse effect on ICA's operations.
