Mismatch of minion version on Aria Automation Config UI

Issue/Introduction

• When viewing Minions on Aria Automation Config / Tanzu Salt UI > Targets > All Minions > Minions show inaccurate versions instead of the actual version of the minion on the minion machine despite successful update of salt minion.
• Listing the salt minion version using command line : salt-call -V shows updated version.
• Running a salt '*' test.version from the salt master retrieves accurate version info for all minions.

Aria Automation Config 8.x

Cause

Issue with salt master updating the minion's information into its cache and therefore into the Raas.

Resolution

• Run a salt '<minion_id(s or *)> saltutil.refresh_grains to trigger a refresh of the grains data held by the master and therefore should be able to publish the same to the raas UI.
• Ideal practice, post salt update activities, run the below jobs to trigger a compatible sync of the update:
  • sudo salt '*' saltutil.sync_all
  • sudo salt '*' saltutil.refresh_grains
  • sudo salt '*' saltutil.refresh_pillar 
• Validate from the Aria Automation Config UI that the minion version reflect as expected.
