Cause

'Enhanced Data Integrity' provided as a protection against concurrent access of shared sequential data sets for update or output.

Messages will continue to appear unless suppressed via SYS1.PARMLIB(IFGPSEDI).

Note these messages are informational only, OPEN processing of the dataset will continue.

Resolution

To make datasets exempt from the EDI function, add the datasets to the EDI exclusion list in member SYS1.PARMLIB(IFGPSEDI), see example below:

MODE(WARN)   
DSN(SYS4.CAVIEW.SARDBASE.**)

Note wildcards/masking is permitted.
