Issue/Introduction

• DHCP profile created and attached to the T1-Gateway.
• Realization report an error on DHCP service status page.

• Error: The object was not realized. Please check for any alarms on the object. (Error code: 511028)

Cause

The "realization error" observed for DHCP configurations is an expected behavior within NSX-T when the configured DHCP service is not actively in use by any connected virtual machines or segments. It does not indicate a functional fault.

Resolution

• At least one of the segments should be configured for "Gateway DHCP server" with this respective DHCP profile.
  
  NSX UI --> Networking --> Segments --> Edit DHCP Config
  
  
  
• T1-Gateway DHCP realization status, post configuring the segment for "Gateway DHCP Server"
