Failed to deploy NSX Edge node with the status Pending

Issue/Introduction

• Newly deployed edge node shows configuration pending status 
• From NSX Edge console, Controller connectivity shows down from he edge node with OTHER_ERROR

 

Syslog entries of edge shows closing connection due to certificate unknown.

Cause

Edge is not getting into success state due to the following error, Insufficient Resource Exception : no free IP found to allocate from the pool

Resolution

Please ensure that IP-Pool has not excused all IP addresses; if IP-Pool has been utilized consider increasing the IP range or adding a new IP subnet.
