APMSSO installation error java.lang.ClassNotFoundException

Issue/Introduction

Running the APM SSO installer caapmsso-linux-13.4.4.bin and got the "java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.zerog.lax.LAX" error:

#:> ./caapmsso-linux-13.4.4.bin

Extracting the installation resources from the installer archive...  
Configuring the installer for this system's environment...

Error: Could not find or load main class com.zerog.lax.LAX  
Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.zerog.lax.LAX

 

Java version installed in this environment is as follows: 

#:> java -version
openjdk version "11.0.27" 2025-04-15
OpenJDK Runtime Environment Temurin-11.0.27+6 (build 11.0.27+6)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM Temurin-11.0.27+6 (build 11.0.27+6, mixed mode)

Resolution

After adding the following environment variable resolved the installation error "java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.zerog.lax.LAX". 

export JAVA_TOOL_OPTIONS='-Djdk.util.zip.disableZip64ExtraFieldValidation=true'

Then run the installer again.
