• VMC Protected SDDC is on an AWS setup
•  VLCR DR Connector ova deployed to vCenter.
•  Execution of the VMware Cloud Connector setup fails.

Environment

VMware Live Cyber Recovery 7.27.6.0

Cause

• The DR Connector setup cannot access the public internet from within the AWS env.
  
  
• Network routing issue between VMC and AWS to public internet.
  
  
  
  

 

Resolution

• Correct subnet gateway to allow DR Connector on VMC AWS access to public internet. 
  
  
• Once access is granted the DR Cloud connector setup should complete.
