Getting "Host is not conforming with the requirement of single vmknic for vMotion/management traffic type" at the "Validate & Deploy" stage of VCF Fleet Deployment.

Issue/Introduction

At the "Validate & Deploy" stage of the VCF Fleet Deployment, you see the critical alert "Host is not conforming with the requirement of single vmknic for vMotion/management traffic type."

Environment

VCF 9.0.0.0 

Cause

This error message is seen when there are multiple VMkernel adapters assigned to the traffic type "management" or is sharing a port group with another traffic type.

Resolution

Ensure that each VMkernel adapter is uniquely assigned to a specific traffic type and is not sharing a port group with another traffic type.

Additional Information

Broadcom engineering is working on correcting this error message to be more explicit on what "vmknic" is.
