Update the "default admin configuration admin username" in Aria suite lifecycle manager for VIDM

Issue/Introduction

• During the initial configuration of VIDM, the username used for default configuration admin was incorrect and it needs to be updated
• The product page in Aria suite lifecycle manager for Identity manager shows a different username 
• API calls to update the password will fail with invalid credentials
  
  
  

Environment

Aria Suite Lifecycle Manager 8.x

Resolution

Note: Take snapshot/backup of Aria Suite lifecycle manager before making any changes

1.Make sure there is valid credentials. If not, reset the credentials using Resetting VMware Identity Manager Default Configuration Admin password

2.Add the credentials in the locker  - Add password to locker

3.Update default configuration admin password in the reference tab of the password which is in use with the newly added credentials.
           

4.When it fails click on retry and update the username to the default configuration admin's username.

5.Once completed, Perform the inventory sync and verify the product page of VIDM in Aria suite lifecycle manager is updated.
