Access Control failures seen on NSX Managers coming from Aria Operations and Aria Operations for Networks

Issue/Introduction

• Using Aria Operations for Logs, it can be seen that there is a large number of events in relation to NSX Managers reporting that the 'ACCESS_CONTROL' module has 'FAILURES' for 'LOGIN' Operation.
• The usernames mentioned in these events are mostly the collection users from Aria Operations / Aria Operations for Networks.

Cause

Aria Operations NSX-T Management Pack is making too many API calls to the NSX Manager.

The API rate limit on the NSX Manager is being exceeded.

Once the API rate limit on the NSX Manager has been exceeded, any additional will be rejected.

Resolution

To reduce the speed at which Aria Operations queries the NSX Managers API, follow the steps mentioned in NSX Management Pack generates a large number of API calls to NSX
